Employment Requirement

  • At least two years of patient care experience
  • College diploma
  • Nursing licensure in the country the degree was received
  • Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS) Certificate
  • National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN)
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

Candidates who have not completed their certifications are welcome to create online profile and upload credentials for consideration.

What is EB-3 Visa?

The Employment-Based Immigration: Third Preference EB-3 visa is granted to qualified foreign workers whose skills are on the shortage designation and U.S. employer have proven no U.S. employees are available for the job.

Foreign workers under the EB-3 visa can come to the U.S. on an immigrant visa, live permanently and work without having to obtain an Employment Authorization Document (EAD). After fulfilling their employment agreement, worker may leave the sponsoring employer, look for another job, and relocate to any State they wish without fear of “buy-out,” or additional contractual obligation.

If the I-140 petition (Immigrant Petition for Foreign Worker) is approved, the spouse and unmarried children under the age of 21 may also be eligible to apply for admission to the United States.


EB-3 Visa Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for EB-3 Immigrant Visa Preference category:

  • You must demonstrate that you possess a U.S. baccalaureate or foreign equivalent degree, and that a baccalaureate degree is the normal requirement for entry into the occupation
  • You must be performing work for which qualified workers are not available in the United States
  • Education and experience may not be substituted for a baccalaureate degree
  • You must meet any other requirements specified on the labor certification
  • Labor certification and a permanent, full-time job offer required


Services

For new immigrants who does not have relatives or friends to help them during the transition (in addition to the new hire services employer may provide), we extend the following support:

A. Pre-Arrival

  • Find suitable temporary accommodation near public transport
  • Study local transportation system and provide schedules 

B. Arrival

  • Airport meet & greet
  • Arrange airport transportation and drive to destination
  • Drive to employer location on the first day
  • Conduct cultural and community orientation 

C. Guidance and Protection

  • Gateway retains the services of legal practitioners to help protect the interest of the new immigrants during their transition in the United States.
  • Conduct periodic consultation to make sure working conditions and benefits outlined in the employment contract is adhered to, and they are not exploited and discriminated in their new environment.
